THE OFFICE THE OMBUDSMAN BIDS FAREWELL TO ITS TWO OFFICERS

The Office of the Ombudsman threw a farewell party to its two officers namely Mrs. Mamotloang Makhetha and Mr. Tseliso Tsenoli who retired in July 2015.

Farewell speeches were delivered by the colleagues, Ombudsman, and the retirees. In her speech Mrs. Lebohang Ntoampe (Assistant to the Ombudsman) underscored the fact that the retirees were indeed the foundations of the Office’s history. This is because Mamotloang is the first accountant for the Office since 1994 whilst Mr. Tsenoli is the first chauffeur for the Ombudsman once 1999since 1999 when the post was established. She rounded off by saying that the office has worked well with the retirees and their contributions to the Office will be solemnly missed. The Ombudsman also said that both the retirees has served the Office for a long time and during their work they have shown their dedication and loved their jobs.

In her vote of thanks, Mrs Makhetha said they are thankful to have worked for an organisation like the Office of the Ombudsman. She said they always felt like home whenever they were at work, so they are going to miss this family.
